The inspection tools that existed were built by software companies with no field experience. They looked fine in demos — they failed in equipment rooms with no signal, on report templates that clients couldn’t read, on checklists that didn’t match the Watershape University standard.
PPI was built to solve those problems. Every design decision reflects a real inspection scenario. The offline-first architecture came from being inside a pump house at the end of a long driveway. The report template came from realtor feedback after 50+ inspections.
